2027 Call for Proposals

Call for Presentations — Level Zero 2027

Main conference: April 28–30, 2027 · Georgia Tech Exhibition Hall, Atlanta
Securing operational technology (OT) takes engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and risk working from the same playbook — and Level Zero is where those disciplines meet. We're accepting proposals from practitioners who've done the work and can help others do it too. (Invited through a cohort host? Watch for your direct link — this open call is for everyone else.)
What we're looking for
One word matters most: actionable — what an attendee can do differently the week after your session (practical steps, low-budget "do-this-now" wins, clear takeaways). We favor interactive formats — live demos, exercises, group problem-solving — over slides-only talks. Skip the FUD: no nation-state weapon tours or scare-only war stories. Incident talks are welcome when they turn the event into protective measures people can actually implement.
Tracks (pick one)

Engineering & Resilience — Cyber-Informed Engineering, security by design, resilient OT architecture, Zero Trust for OT, testing through exercises.
Energy, Grid & Utilities — sector-specific challenges across power, grid, water, and energy.
Threats & Incident Response — threat landscape, attacks and consequences, OT monitoring/SOC, supply-chain risk, response and recovery.
Governance, Risk & AI — risk quantification, standards and regulations, board-level security, OT-IT workforce, and the practical role of AI in OT.

Any topic on the cybersecurity of OT, ICS, IIoT, or cyber-physical systems fits — no restrictive annual theme.
Formats

Talk — 30 or 50 min (build in Q&A)
Panel — 50 min
Workshop / hands-on — 90–120 min
Lightning / TEDx-style — 10–15 min

How we review — rolling
The Program Committee reviews and accepts sessions on a rolling basis — early submissions get early decisions, not one verdict at the close. Reviews weigh originality, expertise, relevance, and above all actionability. Submit early — the sooner you're in, the more slots remain and the sooner you can plan travel. We aim to publish most of the program by mid-November.

To submit: a session title, short abstract (≤500 characters), track, format, and one-line bio. Headshots and full details come only after acceptance.
